Become a Peer Reviewer
Peer review is an essential and invaluable part of the scholarly work Medical Education strives to support.
There are many reasons to become a peer reviewer, including CME credit, evidence of contributing to scholarship in the field that can help with your own promotions (see the latest reviewer list), and the knowledge that you are helping others make their work as good as it can be (see our Awards page). If that's not enough, our Editor has offered a more elaborate explanation of why serving as a peer reviewer provides an excellent stimulus for one's professional development.
For those who are new to reviewing, there are many resources available to help improve your skill in this activity.
To register as a reviewer, please visit our ScholarOne Manuscripts Central site and 'Create an Account'. Once you provide your user information, including name, email address and affiliation, you will be subsequently asked to specify your specialty and area of interest. Using the lists provided, please select the keywords to which you are best-suited. This is essential for ensuring we’re able to successfully locate your reviewer details and invite you to review manuscripts that fit your interests.
